WorldTrips Insurance Eligibility 

WorldTrips insurance plans provide coverage for people traveling outside their country of citizenship for leisure, business, studying, and more. Not every plan has the same eligibility. It is a good practice to check the plan’s brochure or the certificate of wordings to understand the eligibility and details. WorldTrips Insurance plans are for international travelers who want medical and travel coverage in an unfamiliar land.

WorldTrips Insurance Claim 

  • If claims are incurred within the US, the provider in the network can bill WorldTrips directly. Present your insurance ID card to your medical provider at the time of service. The company will send you a letter notifying you that the claims were received. A Claimant’s Statement and Authorization Form will have to be completed and submitted within 45 days, without which your case may be closed. Once the necessary information has been received, the claims will be evaluated for reimbursement.  
  • If you present the insurance IS card to the medical provider and if you pay for a particular eligible medical expense,  request an itemized bill with all necessary information. You can then submit the Claimant’s Statement and Authorization Form to the company for every incident. Once they receive all the itemized bills and receipts from you, they will look to see if the claim is eligible or not. If it is eligible, you will be reimbursed for the losses. 
  • To process claims incurred outside the US, present your insurance ID card to your medical provider, and request an itemized bill. Next, you must go through all the necessary steps that are mentioned in point 2.
