GeoBlue Navigator Health Plan for Students and Faculty

The Geoblue Navigator for students and faculty (inbound and outbound) plans also known as Global Navigator in selected states, designed for international students and scholars. This plan meets the needs of international students and faculty by offering comprehensive worldwide benefits inside and outside the U.S. without the typical limits, eligibility conditions and benefit exclusions common among traditional plans.

    Geoblue Navigator Students and Faculty Outbound after the deductible pays 100% of covered expenses.
  • In USA
    Goeblue Navigator Students and Faculty Inbound, after the deductible pays 80% of covered expenses up to the out of pocket maximum (various options available) in bills; there after Geoblue Navigator Students and Faculty Inbound pays 100%.
  • Coverage is available for periods of 3 months to 364 days.
  • The plan can be purchased for a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 364 days at any given time.
  • The Geoblue Student USA and Global Student USA Preferred Insurance are underwritten 4 Ever Life Insurance Company.
  • Claims for Geoblue Student USA and Geoblue Student USA Preferred Insurance is administered by HTH Worldwide, Radnor, PA, USA.

  • Eligibility

    U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents living abroad who are 75 or younger at the time of application are eligible to apply for coverage. Legal residents of the U.S. (citizens and residents) are eligible if they apply from an approved state. The Eligible Member must be scheduled to reside outside of his/her country for at least 3 months per year and must be involved in Educational activity. This includes:

    • International Students living in an approved state
    • International Faculty and Research Scholars in an approved state
    • Optional Practical Training (OPT) Participants living in an approved state
    • U.S. Students and Faculty, planning on studying outside of the U.S., applying from either an approved state or from outside of the U.S.
    • Pre-existing condition waiting period can be eliminated with proof of prior creditable coverage
  • Plan Benefits

    The Geoblue Navigator – Inbound and Outbound plans offer a broad range of benefits including:

    • Physician office visits, inpatient hospital services, hospital and physician outpatient services
    • Pre-existing conditions covered with creditable coverage (prior HTH Student Plans qualify).
    • Evacuations and repatriations covered
    • Prescription drug benefits.
    • Injuries related to terrorism are covered.
    • Access to elite providers in 180 countries outside the U.S.
  • Remarks
    • PPO Network: In the US, Geoblue Navigator for Student and Faculty plan uses the aetna.
    • Renewal: The policy does not automatically renew upon request. The company will inform the new plan rate at least 30 days prior to policy expiration date.
    • Cancellation: Refund with a written notice; If after effective date, unused full month premiums can be refunded.
