Sports Travel Insurance / Winter Sports Travel Insurance Plans

We, International Services, Inc. offer three major sports travel insurance (including winter sports coverage) plans. These plans are: Patriot Extreme, Atlas Travel Series, and Diplomat America.

Patriot Extreme:

  • Coverage is available outside your country of citizenship for a time period between 30 days and six months.
  • Patriot Extreme plans are not renewable, but can be rewritten for succeeding or subsequent periods of coverage.
  • Injuries incurred during non contact amateur athletic activities and the following activities: BMX, bungee jumping, caving, flying (private plane), hang gliding, heli-skiing, high diving, hot air ballooning, kayaking, inline skating, mountain biking, mountaineering (up to 4500 m from ground level), paragliding, rapelling, rock climbing (up to 4000 m), scuba diving (to 50 m), sky diving, spelunking, whitewater rafting (up to Class V) are covered.

Atlas Travel Series With Hazardous Sports Rider:

  • The basic Atlas Travel Series offers short term sports travel insurance with medical evacuations services, and travel assistance services. Coverage is offered from 5 days to 1 year outside your home country.
  • The Hazardous Sports Rider can be added to the plan for an additional premium.
  • The optional hazardous sport rider under Atlas Travel Series offers coverage for: Mountain climbing, White water rafting, aviation, hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting, bungee jumping, snow skiing, snow boarding, racing by animal or motorized vehicle, spelunking, sub aqua pursuits, jet skiing, and any other activity undertaken for thrill seeking.

Diplomat America With Sports Rider:

  • Diplomat America provides sports travel insurance (including winter sports travel insurance) to non-US citizens entering the US to participate in sport events or activities. Diplomat America may be purchased for a period of time anywhere between 15 days to 1 year.
  • Diplomat America with Sports Rider provides coverage for: motorcycling, scuba diving, jet, snow and water skiing, mountain climbing, sky diving, amateur racing, piloting any aircraft, bungee jumping, spelunking, whitewater rafting, surfing and parasailing.
