Worldwide Health Insurance provides worldwide medical coverage for Injuries and Illnesses to individuals traveling outside of their home country who are at least 14 days old.
 

Worldwide Health Insurance provides Policy Maximum limits as follows:

    • Age 14 days to 69 – $50,000, $100,000, $250,000, $500,000 or $1,000,000
    • Age 70 to 79 – $50,000
    • Age 80 or older – $10,000
$0, $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or $2,500 per Certificate Period.
  • Outside the U.S. and Canada:
    For the Certificate Period, Worldwide Health Insurance will pay 100% of Eligible Expenses after the Deductible up to the Overall Maximum Limit
  • In USA
    For the Certificate Period, Worldwide Health Insurance will pay 80% of the next $5,000 of Eligible Expenses after the Deductible, then 100% to the Overall Maximum Limit. Coinsurance will be waived if expenses are incurred within the PPO and expenses are submitted to Underwriters for review and payment directly to the provider.
There are two coverage options, the Worldwide Health International For travel outside of the US and Worldwide Health America for non-US Citizens Traveling Outside their Home Country.
The minimum coverage period is 5 days and the maximum initial coverage period is 12 months. After 12 months of continuous coverage, individuals covered under Worldwide Health International may renew their coverage for up to 12 additional months. If 24 months of continuous coverage is maintained, a final period of up to 12 months may be purchased.
Worldwide Health Insurance is underwritten by the Insurance Company of the State of Pennsylvania.
Worldwide Health Insurance is administered by Travel Guard.
Eligibilty

If you are traveling outside of your Home Country and are at least 14 days old, you are eligible for coverage. If you are under age 70, you may select your Overall Maximum Limit, ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000. If you are age 70 to 79, the Overall Maximum Limit available is $50,000. If you are age 80 or older, the Overall Maximum Limit available is $10,000. The minimum coverage period is 5 days and the maximum initial coverage period is 12 months.

Your coverage becomes effective on the latest of:

  • the moment we receive your Application and correct premium (if Application and payment is made online or by fax),
  • 12:01am on the date we receive your Application and payment (if Application and payment is made by mail),
  • the moment you depart from your Home Country, or
  • 12:01 am on the date you request on your Application.

Your coverage will end on the earliest of:

  • 12:01am on the last day of the period for which you have paid a premium,
  • 12:01am on the date requested on your Application, or
  • The moment of your arrival upon return to your Home Country (unless you have started a Benefit Period or are eligible for Home Country Coverage).

Remarks
  • Renewal: Deductible and Coinsurance must be re-satisfied as of each renewal date. Extensions or renewals must be made online with payment by credit card.
  • Cancellation: If you are not completely satisfied, you can receive a refund of the cost. Requests must be submitted to Travel Guard in writing withing 15 days of the effective date of the coverage, provided it is not past the original departure date.
