|
Select from three areas of world coverage (including USA etc.) and premium can be paid in GB£, US$ and Euro€. Various deductible (excess) amounts are available.

Crew Select International insurance is annually renewable and coverage is continuous
when renewed.

Eligibility:
To be eligible you must meet the following criteria -
- be below 75 years of age
- be employed as a full time sea-growing crew sailing outside of the US territorial waters
- A U.S. citizen - not qualified for adequate coverage under a domestic insurance plan.
- A non U.S. citizen - with a non-US residence address
different from their home country.
Your effective date of insurance will be on the 1st or 15th day of the month following
underwriting approval.
Your coverage ends on the earlier of:
- The last day of the month after the date the Insured Person is no longer eligible;
- The end of the last period for which premium has been paid;
- The date the Policy terminates;
- The date the Lifetime Maximum Benefit of the Plan has been exhausted;
- The date of fraud or misrepresentation of a material fact by the Insured Person,
except as indicated in the Time Limit on Certain Defenses provision.

Remarks:
- Renewal: Crew Select International is renewable annually.
The member must continue to meet the eligibility requirements. Policies are renewed
at prevailing rates based on age and residence. Your personal health history will
not determine the renewal rate. After 12 months of continuous coverage members may
apply for a new plan that covers maternity.
- Cancellation:Additional cancellation surcharges will apply
if cancelled prior to the annual renewal.
