HCC Short Term Health Insurance

HCC Short Term Health Insurance is a temporary health plan for new graduates, those in-between jobs, those on COBRA, those waiting for employer benefits, and seasonal employees

HCC Short Term Health Insurance provides a Lifetime Policy Maximum of US US$1,000,000 or $2,000,000.
$250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, and $7,500 per Certificate Period. A maximum of three deductibles per family.
HCC Life Short Term Medical plan pays 80% or 50% of your medical costs for the first $5,000 in covered charges. After that first $5,000, HCC Life Short Term Medical insurance plan pays 100% of covered charges up to the lifetime maximum.
HCC Life Short Term Medical plan offers full in-patient prescription drug coverage but out-patient prescriptions expenses are excluded.
HCC Life Short Term Medical plan expires when the short term period selected ends. When your plan expires, you may apply for another plan.

Each person must be between the ages of 2 to 64 years. Dependents must be under the age of 19, or 25 if full-time students (these requirements can vary by State).

Coverage becomes effective at 12:01 a.m. on your approved effective date as long as your enrollment form is complete, meets the requirements for acceptance, and includes the initial premium. Your requested effective date must fall within 45 days of the date you signed the enrollment form.

Coverage will end at midnight on the expiry date of the policy.

  • Renewal: When your plan expires, you may apply for another plan depending on the state laws.
  • Cancellation: If you are not completely satisfied with HCC Life Short Term Health Insurance plan, you may return the policy and identification cards within 10 days of delivery for a premium refund, no questions asked. After the 10-day free look period, premiums are not refundable. If you pay by the month, simply stop paying when you are ready to discontinue HCC Short Term Health Insurance.
