Savvy Traveler plan is a travel insurance plan offering basic trip cancellation benefits at a reasonable cost. If you need to protect your trip costs in the event you may have to cancel your trip, Savvy Traveler is an excellent choice.

| Claims Administrator |
In the US all claims should be forwarded to Travel Guard® P.O Box47, Stevens Point, Wisconsin 54481 (telephone: 1.800.826.4117). In the state of California all claims are administered by Mercury Claims Administrator Services, LLC. |
Eligibility:
Any US resident traveler(s) who purchases insurance through or from a properly licensed agent/agency located in the U.S., who enrolls for coverage and pays the premium, providing they have not already departed on their Trip.
Plan Benefits:
- Trip Cancellation: Up to Trip Cost
- Trip Interruption: Up to the Trip Cost
- Medical Expenses: Up to $10,000
- Emergency Medical Transportation Up to $100,000
Remarks:
- Payment of Claims: When Paid: Claims will be paid as soon as Travel Guard® receives complete proof of loss and verification of age of the insured.
- Payment of Claims: To Whom Paid: Benefits paid on account of an Insured's death will be paid to the beneficiary he/she has chosen.
- Cancellation: Refunds minus a service fee is available if written request to cancel is received within 15 days of purchasing the plan, provided it is not past the departure date.
- Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion Waiver: Upto a maximum of the first $15,000 of Trip Cost per person if the following conditions are met:
- Plan is purchased within 15 days of making the Initial Trip Payment
- The amount of coverage purchased equals all prepaid nonrefundable payments or deposits applicable to the Trip at the time of purchase, and the cost of any subsequent arrangement(s) added to the same Trip are insured within 15 days of the date of payment or deposit for any subsequent Trip arrangement(s);
- All Insured’s are medically able to travel when plan cost is paid.
