Designed for those participating in education and cultural exchange programs abroad, the Patriot Exchange SM Program gives peace of mind to participants and group organizers alike. Three flexible plans can be tailored to your unique circumstances.

Coverage can be purchased in monthly increments for up to 24 months, with renewal available after three months of continuous coverage for the Basic and Standard Short Term Travel Plans.

Eligibility:
- Open only to group members actively engaged or participating in an educational or cultural exchange program in the country of assignment through a sponsoring organization or school, and their spouses and unmarried dependent children;
- The group member and his/her traveling dependents must have legally departed the Home Country and entered the Host Country and must not be a citizen of the Host Country.
Plan Benefits:
Patriot Exchange Program offers a broad range of benefits including:
- Coverage for medical emergencies, illness, or injuries while studying abroad;
- Emergency Medical Evacuation to the nearest qualified medical center or hospital and Emergency Reunion coverage for family members;
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Return of Mortal Remains coverage;
- Coverage for Political Evacuation and acts of Terrorism;
- Reimbursement for lost or stolen baggage up to $1000 under Long-Term Annual Plan;
- Optional Baggage, Legal Assistance, and Personal Liability add-on coverage; and,
- Optional Sports rider.
Remarks:
- PPO Network: Outside the US the plan does not follow a network. You can utilize the International Provider Access? for assistance in locating a health care provider. Inside the US, the Patriot Exchange Insurance provider network is First Health Network.
- Renewal: The Basic and Standard Short Term Plans can be renewed (without a break in coverage) for up to a total of 24 months, if the plan is purchased for a minimum of three months.
