Liaison® Continent medical insurance offers medical coverage and emergency services to individuals and families traveling outside their Home Country

Liaison® Continent medical insurance provides a medical maximum of $50,000; $100,000; $500,000 or $1,000,000 (ages 80+, maximum limited to $15,000)

$0; $100; $250; $500; $1000; $2500 Deductible is per person per Policy Period, maximum of 3 Policy Period deductibles per family. The selected Deductible and Coinsurance amount must be met for your Policy Period, maximum six (6) months.

  • Outside the U.S. and Canada:

    Plan E: After you pay the deductible, the program pays 100% to the selected Medical Maximum.

    Plan F: After you pay the deductible, the program pays 80% of eligible expenses to the selected Medical Maximum.

  • In USA:

    Plan A: After you pay the deductible, the program pays 80% of the next $2,500 of eligible expenses, then 90% of the next $5,000 of eligible expenses, then 100% to the selected Medical Maximum.

    Plan B: After you pay the deductible, the program pays 75% of eligible expenses to the selected Medical Maximum

The minimum period of coverage under Liaison® Continent is five (5) days, maximum is six (6) months.

Coverage can be purchased in a combination of monthly and/or daily increments by paying the appropriate plan cost. For continuing coverage, You do not have to pay premium for your entire trip all at once. The minimum Period of Coverage is five (5) days. Prior to the expiration date, Seven Corners will send out a renewal notice to your e-mail address, providing you the opportunity to extend coverage. This can be done as many times as you like up to a maximum Period of Coverage of six (6) months.

Liaison® Continent medical insurance is underwritten by Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s of London, member of Lloyd’s Group of companies.

Liaison® Continent medical insurance is administered by Seven Corners.

Eligibility

Liaison® Continent provides coverage for individuals and families (including unmarried dependent children) over 14 days and under 19 years of age) while traveling outside of their Home Country.

Your coverage will begin on the latest of the following:

  • The moment you depart your Home Country; or
  • The date and time the Application and full plan cost is received and accepted by Seven Corners; or
  • The date requested on the Application.

Coverage will end on the earlier of the following:

  • Your return to your Home Country (except as provided under the Home Country Coverage); or
  • The date shown on the ID Card, for which plan cost has been paid;
  • The date you are no longer eligible under this plan.
Plan Benefits

Liaison® Continent Insurance offers a broad range of benefits including:

  • hospital indemnity: $150 / night (traveling outside the U.S. and Canada) in addition to any other Covered Expense.
  • dental (emergency): $100 ($500 for accidents) available for programs purchased for one (1) month or more.
  • emergency medical evacuation/ repatriation: $300,000 (in addition to the Medical Maximum)
  • home country coverage: Incidental Trips to The Home Country: $50,000
  • follow me home coverage: $5,000
  • return of mortal remains: $50,000
  • emergency reunion: $50,000
  • return of minor children): $50,000
  • interruption of trip: $5,000
  • loss of checked luggage: $250
  • local ambulance expense: $5,000
  • accidental death & dismemberment (ad&d): $50,000 Principal Sum for Insured or Insured Spouse, $5,000 for Dependent children).
  • common carrier accidental death: $100,000 per adult, $25,000 per children) under age of 19; $250,000 Maximum per family
  • hospital room & board: Usual, reasonable and customary to the selected Medical Maximum
  • intensive care: Usual, reasonable and customary to the selected Medical Maximum
  • outpatient medical expenses: Usual, reasonable and customary to the selected Medical Maximum
  • waiver of pre-existing conditions: Up to $20,000 for U.S. citizens traveling outside the United States and Canada

Pre-existing Condition:

  • US Citizens: Unexpected recurrence of pre-existing condition coverage upto $25,000 for less than 70 years. But limited to $5,000 for age 70 and over.

  • Non US Citizens: Acute Onset of Pre-existing conditions covered upto the limits stated below

  • $500,000 – $125,000
  • $1,000,000 – $150,000
Remarks
  • PPO Network: Outside the US please contact Seven Corners Assist by utilizing the contact details in the ID card
  • PPO Network: Within the US the plan follows the Multiplan
  • Renewal: Prior to the expiration date, Seven Corners will send out a renewal notice to your e-mail address, providing you the opportunity to extend coverage or can be completed online. This can be done as many times as you like up to a maximum Period of Coverage of six (6) months. A $5.00 Administrative Fee will be included on each notice. If you would like to purchase additional coverage, you must return to your Home Country for a minimum of thirty (30) days.
  • Cancellation: Refund of total plan cost will only be considered if written request is received by Seven Corners prior to the Effective Date of Coverage. If written request is received after the Effective Date of coverage, the unused portion of the plan cost may be refunded minus a cancellation fee, provided no claim has been submitted to Seven Corners for reimbursement.
