  • Global Navigator Missionary insurance has a $5,000,000 lifetime maximum and a $250,000 maximum benefit for emergency medical evacuation.
  • Global Navigator Missionary insurance offers a range of deductible options from $250 to $5,000. Deductible is waived for office visits with contracted physicians.
  • Outside the U.S. and Canada:
    For the Certificate Period, Underwriters will pay 100% of Eligible Expenses after the Deductible up to the Overall Maximum Limit.
  • In USA
    For the Certificate Period, Underwriters will pay 80% in network and 60% outside of network for the Eligible Expenses up to the out of pocket maximum limit and then up to 100% after the Deductible.
  • Missionary groups and NGO’s can cover teams of any size with a group plan and designs can be customized.
  • Global Navigator Missionary is annually renewable and coverage is continuous when renewed.
  • Global Navigator Missionary is underwritten by UniCare Life & Health, a WellPoint Company; HM Life Insurance Company of New York, NY and HM Life Insurance Company of Pittsburg, PA
  • All Global Navigator Missionary plans are administered by HTH Worldwide.

  • Eligibility

    The Eligible Member resides outside his/her Home Country or is scheduled to reside outside his/her Home Country for a period greater that 3 months. An Eligible Participant or an Eligible Dependent must meet all of the following requirements:

    • Missionary participants must be Citizen of the U.S. or permanent resident of the U.S. (as defined by the immigration code of the U.S.);
    • Marine participant’s Country of Assignment is other than the Eligible Participant’s Home Country;
    • under Age 75.

    Your effective date of insurance will be on the 1st or 15th day of the month following underwriting approval.

    Your coverage ends on the earlier of:

    • The last day of the month after the date the Insured Person is no longer eligible;
    • The end of the last period for which premium has been paid;
    • The date the Policy terminates;
    • The date the Lifetime Maximum Benefit of the Plan has been exhausted;
    • The date of fraud or misrepresentation of a material fact by the Insured Person, except as indicated in the Time Limit on Certain Defenses provision.

    The Global Citizen health plan offers a broad range of benefits including:

    • Maternity benefits after 12 months of continuous coverage (at the time of renewal you can opt for maternity coverage if you are not pregnant at the time)
  • Remarks
    • PPO Network: Outside the US the plan does not follow a network. You can go to any hospital or doctor. Within the US members have access to a contracted nationwide Aetna network of over 700,000 preferred providers.
    • Renewal: Global Navigator Missionary is renewable up to age 74. Policies are renewed at prevailing rates based on age and residence. Your personal health history will not determine the renewal rate.
    • Cancellation: Additional cancellation surcharges will apply if cancelled prior to the annual renewal.
