Global Navigator Marine Crew Insurance®
Global Navigator Marine Crew Insurance® is worldwide health insurance and services for maritime crews and employers. The plan offers comprehensive worldwide benefits. There are no limits on time spent in or out of the US. Boat owners can cover crews of any size with a group plan. Plans are HIPAA compliant.

Global Navigator Marine Crew insurance has a $5,000,000 lifetime maximum and a $250,000 maximum benefit for emergency medical evacuation. |
| Deductible |
Global Navigator Marine Crew insurance offers a range of deductible options from $250 to $5,000. Deductible can vary for coverage outside the US and for coverage outsite the network in the US. n Deductible is waived for office visits with contracted physicians. |
| Co-insurance |
- Outside the U.S. and Canada:
For the Certificate Period, Underwriters will pay 100% of Eligible Expenses after the Deductible up to the Overall Maximum Limit.
- In USA:
For the Certificate Period, Underwriters will pay 80% in network and 60% outside of network for the Eligible Expenses up to the out of pocket maximum limit and then up to 100% after the Deductible.

Eligibility:
The Eligible Member must be below age 75 and their country of assignment must be different from their home country. Your effective date of insurance will be on the 1st or 15th day of the month following underwriting approval.
Your coverage ends on the earlier of:
- The last day of the month after the date the Insured Person is no longer eligible;
- The end of the last period for which premium has been paid;
- The date the Policy terminates;
- The date the Lifetime Maximum Benefit of the Plan has been exhausted;
- The date of fraud or misrepresentation of a material fact by the Insured Person, except as indicated in the Time Limit on Certain Defenses provision.

The Global Navigator Marine Crew health plan offers a broad range of benefits including:
- Physician Office Visits.
- Child Immunizations, Lab and X-rays
- Routine Pap Smears and annual mammogram
- One Routine Physical Per Year
- Surgery, anesthesia & radiation therapy
- Organ/Tissue Transplant
- Accidental Dental
- Maternity benefits after 12 months of continuous coverage (at the time of renewal you can opt for maternity coverage if you are not pregnant at the time)
Remarks:
- PPO Network:Outside the US the plan does not follow a network. You can go to any hospital or doctor without incurring any penalty. HTH has an expanding International Provider Community database that can help you locate qualified providers around the world. Participating physicians can accept paymenst directly from HTH for services provided to members. Within the US members have access to a contracted nationwide Aetna network of over 700,000 preferred providers. Higher co payments are required while accessing care from outside the network in the US.
- Renewal: Global Navigator Marine is renewable annually. The member must continue to meet the eligibility requirements. Policies are renewed at prevailing rates based on age and residence. Your personal health history will not determine the renewal rate. After 12 months of continuous coverage members may apply for a new plan that covers maternity.
- Cancellation:Additional cancellation surcharges will apply if cancelled prior to the annual renewal.
