Eligibility:
The eligibility of an individual applying
for Atlas professional insurance depends on two important
factors. The person has to be under the age of 66
and he has to be covered by a regular medical insurance
in his home country. The spouse of an individual covered
by Atlas professional insurance is also eligible for
coverage if he or she is under age 66 and has a medical
insurance coverage in his or her home country. The
same eligibility criterion is applicable to any dependent
children within the age of 14 days to 19 years.
Atlas annual travel insurance offers coverage period
of 12 months and the policy becomes effective from
the date you have submitted the completed application
form and the premium or on the date that you choose
and put on the form. The coverage ends with your return
to your home country. The insurance coverage for your
spouse or dependents, if purchased, is same as your
own but only applicable if they go on the trip abroad.
You can also avail the coverage of medical expenses
in your home country if you are within a Benefit Period
which begins if you are diagnosed with or treated
for a covered injury or illness while your stay abroad.
Plan Benefits:
The coverage offered by Atlas professional
insurance includes a number of benefits like the following:
-
Medical expenses which include
